Correction that promotes Self Advocacy/Accountability
As a parent and a childcare provider, I think it is important to help kids understand the importance of advocating for themselves and helping them to understand what that looks like at an early age.
So I have a technique I use in behavior management, that helps promote these ideas. I call it "Corrective Partnership". I view this technique as a partnership between myself and the child because I am guiding them to hopefully think through their actions and self-correct through an accountability partnership.
