I am on a mission to learn about a new herb each week, join me on this journey of "Herbal Studies"!
Over the weekend, I was reminded of a desire of mine last year to learn more about new herbs. I know that there are many herbs with a vast amount of healing abilities, that I have no idea about. In my quest to become an herbologist, it is important to have a better understanding of not only the mainstream herbs that we hear so much about (i.e. peppermint, ginger, turmeric, etc.) but also the not so familiar ones as well.
So, with that in mind, I am embarking on a journey to learn about a new herb each month. As I go through this exercise, I am going to document some of the ones I study in a new series here on the blog called "Herbal Studies". I will try and call out the most important things I learn, in order to kind of create a quick notes section of herbs for ease of reference for you all.
I hope you guys find this series helpful, especially as we go into cold and flu season. If there are any herbs you all are particularly interested in learning about, please comment below and let me know! I would love to hear some recommendations on herbs to start with on this journey.
Until next time, thanks for reading, and hope you have a great day! :-)
